Paula was raised in a union Democrat family in northeast Ohio and somehow grew up to be a Constitutional conservative and right-wing blogger. While homeschooling her two children in the 1990s, she became involved in the emerging genre of online political activism, leading Ohio’s largest homeschooling listserv, maintaining her own blog, and organizing other online activists to support educational freedom. In addition to writing for Ohio Conservative Review, Paula writes for PJ Media and the Heartland Institute, and is co-author of the e-book Homeschooling: Fighting for My Children’s Future. She is also a member of the Wayne County Executive Committee. Paula describes herself as a Christian first, conservative second, and Republican third.
