TEA Party Leader Tom Zawistowski to Write for Ohio Conservative Review

Wednesday, May 15, 4:15 p.m. EST

The editorial team of Ohio Conservative Review is pleased to announce that Tom Zawistowski, President of We The People Convention and recent candidate for Chairman of the Ohio Republican Party, has joined OCR as a featured writer.

Mr. Zawistowski was the first TEA party leader–nationally–to publicly refuse to comply with IRS demands for additional documents as the agency unfairly targeted TEA party organizations.

Since allegations against the IRS broke, Mr. Zawistowski has been featured by numerous media networks.  His first article for Ohio Conservative Review will expound upon the harmful effects of such targeting on Ohioans.

Mr. Zawistowski has been in high demand since losing his bid for ORP chairmanship in April despite widespread support from conservative Republicans across Ohio.  As Executive Director of the Portage County TEA Party, and past president of the statewide Ohio Liberty Coalition, he is an outspoken advocate for conservative principles and party reform.

“We’re excited that Tom sees Ohio Conservative Review as a suitable platform for expressing his conservative values and concerns to a broad audience,” said Adam Josefczyk, OCR’s Executive Director.  “Tom’s voice is one that deserves to be heard–and debated–among conservatives.”

OCR has picked up several writers since its launch on May 8, including Paula Westwood, Executive Director of Right to Life for Greater Cincinnati and board member for Ohio Pro-Life Action; Paula Bolyard, a member of the Wayne County Republican Executive Committee and writer for PJ Media; and Linda Harvey, radio host and founder of Mission:America.

Since it launched last week, has received over 15,000 page views and welcomed over 1,500 unique visitors.
